Basic Skills Elements 

        

Music: None with a split floor for judged groups A and B

Time: 1:00

Props: Not Permitted

Description: May use a split floor for judged groups A and B in case of a large number of entries

 

Skaters will be divided by skill level and moves.

The moves are chosen from the list of moves for each free skate level.

They can be skated in any order.

Skaters can repeat a move two times and the best score is the score to be counted.


They will be scored on how well they technically execute the following items:

 Level Description 
Beginner Forward Crossovers and Backward Crossovers, forward shoot-the-duck
Basic Two foot spin, waltz jump, forward spiral
Pre-Bronze Half flip, single salchow, one-foot upright spin
Bronze Toe loop(mapes), one-foot upright spin, backward spiral
Silver Single loop, sit spin,  single lutz jump
Gold Axel, double flip,  camel spin
World Class Double axel, triple mapes(toe loop), flying camel spin
